Spanish Standard Course 15 hours per week

Our Spanish Courses as a Second Language are designed to be fun and engaging! We offer classes in the mornings, where you can enjoy 3 hours of learning each day, reaching a total of 15 hours per week. We can’t wait to see you in class!
Spanish Semi-intensive Course 20 hours per week

Our daily schedule features four hours of fun and engaging Spanish classes each morning, complete with a short break in the middle to recharge. That means you’ll enjoy a total of twenty hours of Spanish class time every week—plenty of opportunities to learn and practice!
Spanish intensive Course – 30 hours per week

Bildungsurlaub Intensive Spanish Course – 30 hours per week

Spanish World Institute is an approved Spanish language school for Bildungsurlaub “Educational Leave” Spanish courses.
What is is Bildungsurlaub Educational Leave?
Educational Leave is time off to undertake a course of full-time studies for a minimum of two weeks. Applications for this through Spanish World Institute would mean a full time course to improve your Spanish language skills in all areas from speaking, writing, reading and listening to pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. You will acquire the skills you need to hold conversations in Spanish in your professional and private life. In targeted conversation and role-play lessons, you will practise common situations and “small talk” from the outset in order to be more confident in everyday international business life. These lessons are deliberately designed to be practical. The aim is therefore to achieve a rapid improvement in communication skills and fluency, even with little knowledge of the language.
Our Spanish language courses in Bogotá Colombia with 30 hours per week are recognised as educational leave in almost all German states.

DELE exam Preparation
15 hours per week

In Class you will concentrate on practice test-skills, exam strategy for the independent and integrated tasks in the reading, writing, speaking and listening parts of the exam.
One-to-One lessons:

The course includes a complete needs analysis and a program of work, agreed on by the teacher and the student and a specialized individual study plan will be prepared.
Spanish course for specific purposes
Location: Bogotá.
Morning classes concentrate on improving Spanish language by working on the skills and in the afternoon the classes are focused on the Colombian customs and culture, Business, medical vocabulary.
Online lessons:
The course is fully personalized, allowing students to choose subjects based on their interests and goals. All materials are provided by the Spanish World Institute, and students have free access to our online classroom platform. The start date is flexible, and the learning pace is tailored to each student’s abilities, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Spanish plus volunteering Location: Bogotá.
This exceptional course combines standard Spanish classes with a mandatory fifteen hours of volunteer work from Monday to Friday. Students will take Spanish classes in the mornings and dedicate their afternoons to meaningful volunteer activities. This experience is firmly established in collaboration with public schools and programs supporting older citizens.

Timetable and Schedule
- Spanish courses as a second language in Colombia will start every Monday. If there is a Colombian bank holiday it will start on Tuesday.
- Spanish Standard courses class schedule 8am – 11:00 am.
- Semi- Intensive spanish Course courses class schedule 8am – 12:00 pm.
- Spanish Intensive courses class schedule 8am – 14:00 pm.
- Students can take and learn Spanish lessons for as little as one week up to an indefinite period of time.
Tests and exams
Students will also take progress tests throughout the course (usually weekly).
These help us to see if they are ready to continue to new levels.
In addition they will take a Spanish exam at the end of each Spanish level to check if they are ready to move up to the next level.
Certificate
On completion of the course at with at least a 90% attendance record, students will receive a Spanish certificate course from Spanish World Institute. This will outline the number of hours studied and standard attained.

Course Description
The General Spanish courses in Bogotá a concentrate on improving every aspect of the Spanish language. This course is focused on developing the communicative skills: listening, Spoken interaction and production, writing, grammar, vocabulary, reading and pronunciation.
Our Spanish learning program follows a syllabus which ensures steady progress; on this course you are given homework.
The levels of the classes range from complete beginner (A1) to proficiency (C2). The first two hours will be focused on teaching the grammar of the language, and on the next lesson section it will be used to practice in a communicative way, that’s why the use of games, magazines, newspaper and forth are likely to be practiced here.

Course Description
This Spanish course is ideal for people who study business or work in a job that requires a good level of Spanish.
This is an intensive Spanish course (BS30) which can be taught in group or private, depending on the number of students enrolled. In the morning the students develop general skills, while in the afternoon they focus on Spanish for business.
The course develops negotiation workshops, case studies and role plays in marketing, finances, and general management. This Spanish program aims to develop those communicative skills needed in the business world.
In your Business Spanish class, you will study:
- Vocabulary for key Business topics, for example, marketing, negotiating, presenting, advertising, finance
- Speaking & listening skills, for example, telephoning, meetings, interviews
- Reading & Writing skills, for example, emailing, reports, articles
We recommend this course for students who are upper-intermediate – advanced (B2 – C1). However, some intermediate (B1) level students who are used to using some Spanish in their workplace often benefit greatly from this class.
