Spanish Standard Course 15 hours per week
Class schedule 8am – 11am
Location: Bogotá.
Spanish Courses as a Second Language are only taught in the mornings for 3 hours, totaling 15 hours per week.
Spanish Semi-intensive Course 20 hours per week
Class schedule 8am – 12pm
Location: Bogotá.
The daily schedule includes 4 hours of classes in the mornings, with a short break in the middle of each session. This adds up to a total of 20 hours of spanish class time per week.
Spanish intensive Course – 30 hours per week
Class schedule 8am – 2pm
Location: Bogotá.
The program offers 6 hours of engaging Spanish lessons each morning from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, with a brief break during each session, including fun activities on Friday afternoons.

Bildungsurlaub Intensive Spanish Course – 30 hours per week

Spanish World Institute is an approved Spanish language school for Bildungsurlaub “Educational Leave” Spanish courses.
What is is Bildungsurlaub Educational Leave?
Educational Leave is time off to undertake a course of full-time studies for a minimum of two weeks. Applications for this through Spanish World Institute would mean a full time course to improve your Spanish language skills in all areas from speaking, writing, reading and listening to pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. You will acquire the skills you need to hold conversations in Spanish in your professional and private life. In targeted conversation and role-play lessons, you will practise common situations and “small talk” from the outset in order to be more confident in everyday international business life. These lessons are deliberately designed to be practical. The aim is therefore to achieve a rapid improvement in communication skills and fluency, even with little knowledge of the language.
Our Spanish language courses in Bogotá Colombia with 30 hours per week are recognised as educational leave in almost all German states.

DELE exam Preparation
15 hours per week
Location: Bogotá.
In Class you will concentrate on practice test-skills, exam strategy for the independent and integrated tasks in the reading, writing, speaking and listening parts of the exam.
One-to-One lessons:
Location: Bogotá.
The course includes a complete needs analysis and a program of work, agreed on by the teacher and the student and a specialized individual study plan will be prepared.
Spanish course for specific purposes
Location: Bogotá.
Morning classes concentrate on improving Spanish language by working on the skills and in the afternoon the classes are focused on the Colombian customs and culture, Business, medical vocabulary.
Online lessons:
The course is completely individualized by the learner’s personal teachers, the subject matter can be chosen by the student, according to their interests, targets, and abilities, all materials are provided by Spanish World Institute and there is a free access to our Spanish school classroom platform. The start date is flexible and can be adapted to suit the new student’s commitments, and the speed of learning is personalized to the ability and needs of the student, so that they are comfortable with the pace, and really enjoy their learning experience.
Spanish plus volunteering Location: Bogotá.
This program combines standard Spanish courses with fifteen hours of volunteering work from Monday to Friday. Students take Spanish classes in the mornings, during the afternoon work as a volunteer. This experience is organised with public schools and elderly people.

Methodology
The Spanish World Institute does not use use rigid grammatical teaching methods or rely on a single core book. Instead, the school designs its academic materials for classes. These Spanish learning materials are carefully prepared to meet the students’ needs and are regularly revised. In addition to the materials, teachers incorporate listening exercises using CDs, as well as videos and various other engaging resources, such as games, magazines, and newspapers.

- Access to the study school platform and course materials In the afternoons.
Our Spanish classes are carefully structured. It will include Spanish grammar, reading, oral comprehension, writing exercises, and listening exercises. Additionally, cultural activities are also part of the course. Some Spanish classes will discuss various aspects of Colombian and Latin American culture and society, allowing students to learn the language within the context of the culture. At times, tuition can be one-to-one (one teacher, one student) due to the number of enrolled students. This way, students receive the full attention of the teacher, and classes can be tailored to fit their needs.
Timetable and Schedule
- Spanish courses as a second language in Colombia will start every Monday. If there is a Colombian bank holiday it will start on Tuesday.
- Spanish Standard courses class schedule 8am – 11:00 am.
- Semi- Intensive spanish Course courses class schedule 8am – 12:00 pm.
- Spanish Intensive courses class schedule 8am – 14:00 pm.
- Students can take and learn Spanish lessons for as little as one week up to an indefinite period of time.
Tests and exams
Students will also take progress tests throughout the course (usually weekly).
These help us to see if they are ready to continue to new levels.
In addition they will take a Spanish exam at the end of each Spanish level to check if they are ready to move up to the next level.
Certificate
On completion of the course at with at least a 90% attendance record, students will receive a Spanish certificate course from Spanish World Institute. This will outline the number of hours studied and standard attained.

Course Description
The General Spanish courses in Bogotá and Cartagena concentrate on improving every aspect of the Spanish language. This course is focused on developing the communicative skills: listening, Spoken interaction and production, writing, grammar, vocabulary, reading and pronunciation.
Our Spanish learning program follows a syllabus which ensures steady progress; on this course you are given homework.
The levels of the classes range from complete beginner (A1) to proficiency (C2). The first two hours will be focused on teaching the grammar of the language, and on the next lesson section it will be used to practice in a communicative way, that’s why the use of games, magazines, newspaper and forth are likely to be practiced here.

Course Description
This Spanish course is ideal for people who study business or work in a job that requires a good level of Spanish.
This is an intensive Spanish course (BS30) which can be taught in group or private, depending on the number of students enrolled. In the morning the students develop general skills, while in the afternoon they focus on Spanish for business.
The course develops negotiation workshops, case studies and role plays in marketing, finances, and general management. This Spanish program aims to develop those communicative skills needed in the business world.
In your Business Spanish class, you will study:
- Vocabulary for key Business topics, for example, marketing, negotiating, presenting, advertising, finance
- Speaking & listening skills, for example, telephoning, meetings, interviews
- Reading & Writing skills, for example, emailing, reports, articles
We recommend this course for students who are upper-intermediate – advanced (B2 – C1). However, some intermediate (B1) level students who are used to using some Spanish in their workplace often benefit greatly from this class.
